This year’s CBeebies Christmas Show has been announced as Hans Christian Anderson’s Thumbelina, which will be hosted by The Regent Theatre in Stoke-on-Trent and for the first time, families can experience the show in cinemas around the UK.

With loads of personalities already lined up for Christmas 2018 the show can be enjoyed live in the theatre, on BBC iPlayer and on the CBeebies channel.
Born in a flower and only growing up to a couple of inches tall, Thumbelina tells the story of a thumb-sized girl who tries to find out the truth about her identity as she has no name and is lost and alone, with only a dream to fly like a butterfly.

Tickets for the theatre show go on sale from 9am on Friday, September 21st priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children (plus one booking fee per transaction) at ATG Tickets. Further tickets will be released at 9am on Friday, September 28
Thumbelina records in Stoke-on-Trent on November 3rd and 4th and launches on BBC iPlayer and in cinemas across the UK on December 15th.
