TK Maxx has officially launched its 2020 Lil’ Goat Christmas advert which shines the spotlight on the year we’ve had!

So far we’ve seen Aldi, Very, Argos and Asda all air their Christmas adverts however TK Maxx has been the first to not only have a goat as it’s main character but the brand has also acknowledged the Covid-19 crisis.
Shining a spotlight on the tender and joyful act of making everyone feel special this Christmas, TK Maxx’s 30 second ad, opens with glistening snowy landscape complete with a picture-perfect countryside cottage, sitting in stark contrast to the infectious beat of the ad soundtrack – The Game Remix by Gabriel Garzon Montano, feat. Junglepussy, Seb remix.
We’re then greeted by the star of the show – Lil’ Goat, which in true TK Maxx style is serving up some serious attitude in its enviably stylish designer outfit. As she gives it everything she’s goat, the soundtrack pauses, a crackling fire and Christmas music takes its place, and the camera cuts to a farmer couple looking out of their window at the unfolding scene in a state of frozen astonishment. Susan looks confused and asks Gary, “Did you buy the goat a designer outfit?” Gary, instead of conforming to the stoic farmer type, looks on tenderly with a tear in his eye and replies, “Yes, she’s had such a hard year. She bloomin’ well deserves it if you ask me.”
The advert ends with a gentle reminder that TK Maxx has everything under one roof to find that extra special gift for the people who mean the most to you. This Christmas, TK Maxx is helping shoppers ‘gift their G.O.AT’ – their Greatest of All Time.
