It’s been 40 years since the release of the iconic E.T. film and to celebrate Tomy has released this cute My Best Friend E.T. We were kindly sent this to review, here are Mandy’s thoughts.
Mandy said: “E.T. is one of those films that everyone knows, it’s just an iconic film and I can’t believe it’s been 40 years since the release of the film. So when Tomy sent us the new My Best Friend E.T. I was more than happy to review this. When My Best Friend E.T. arrived in the office, everyone couldn’t believe just how cute he looked, E.T. had on a red hoodie which had a love heart in the middle and has his arms stretched out ready for a hug.

There are 9 different phrases that he will say from the film and to hear these all I had to do was press his tummy I could hear the phrases when I gave him a hug, and his heart began to glow which is exactly what happened in the film! There is also a Beating Heart mode which meant that I could hear the beating of E.T.’s heart while giving him a cuddle.
There is also a Nighttime Mode which gently plays the film theme tune as a lullaby and his heart is also lit up to become a night-light, which is a great way to help kids get to sleep.
Overall I thought Tomy’s My Best Friend E.T. is a lot of fun and kids are going to love him, it is a great way to help them get to sleep and to also hear some of the phrases from the film.
