Elaine from our team said: “When I first lifted this candle out of the box, I could instantly smell the Neroli in particular. The candle had a lovely refreshing, floral aroma which balanced perfectly with the tangerine, which was not over-powering. The candle has a 40 hour burn time and I have to say it certainty delivered. I also liked the fact that it is 100% natural which makes them clean to burn, sustainable and does not impact on the environment. I would definitely try this candle again and the other scents available in the collection.”

100% natural, this beautiful candle, which comes in a glass tumbler, encourages confidence, spiritual clarity and more.
Mandy said “I took the candle out of the box and I instantly fell in love with the scent. Cedarwood, Fir & Spruce are the scents I associate with Christmas trees and Winter. The Holiday Winter Forest candle really did remind me of a Christmas tree but also being outside on a cold Winters night. The candle is 100% GMO-free, 100% pure essential oils and is free from both dyes and chemicals and is made with recycled packaging which can also be recycled when finished with it.
I loved the candle, plus with us all trying to do our bit to help the environment and reduce plastics, I thought this was a great way to contribute. Katy said “I love Yankee Candles and in particular I really like the Christmas/Winter scents, so I was keen to give this candle a try. Firstly I was impressed with the grey, snowy colour of the candle and did like the fact that it didn’t seem to slide on the unit.
When I first smelled the candle, I could smell notes of nutmeg and black peppercorn, all of which just reminds me of winter. When lit the scent filled the room but it was not overpowering and the burn time states between 110-150 hours but so far I have had around 120 hours and I still have a little bit left to burn. I am really impressed with the Yankee Candle Candlelit Cabin.”

The Yankee Candle After Sledding was stunning, it was sweet, Christmassy and warm. When I first lit the candle, it reminded me of toffee popcorn and maple syrup. I loved the smell it gave throughout the house and I would definitely light this on Christmas day when I have guests round to give a warm scent throughout the entire house – perfect!”.

Mandy from the team said: “Sometimes I don’t want a candle in some of the rooms so a reed diffuser is the ideal alternative. When I took this reed diffuser out of the box I was instantly hit with smell of black pepper and hints of citrus, the scent made me think of cold winter mornings outside or in a forest.
The diffuser lasted ages and the sticks didn’t break at any point and I could smell the scent when I walked into the room, I loved it!”.

Spicy, warm and festive make this the ideal Christmas candle.
Holly said: “One of my favourite scents at Christmas is cinnamon and this candle had plenty of it. Matched with clove and orange, the winter spice reminded me of warm mulled cider on a cold, wet, winters night. The scent was fairly strong when burning but it was absolutely gorgeous, I could happily light the candle when I have family and friends round or on Christmas day to fill the room full of warmth.”

This festive bauble design smells like cookies baking.
Katy said: “Firstly I loved the fact that the candle was inside a Christmas bauble, it just looked so festive. When I lit the candle it reminded me of baking cookies in the kitchen. There was cinnamon, ginger and clove with hints of vanilla, all of these combined gave a sweet, but not over-powering scent. The candle burned for around 18 hours and each time gave off as much scent as the first time I lit the candle plus when I was finished I kept the bauble as a decoration!”

Baylis & Harding Midnight Plum And Wild Blackberry Luxury 2 Wick Candle – £15.00
The stunning 2 Wick Candle has scents of plum and wild blackberry.
Elaine from the team said: “I love Baylis and Harding products so I was really excited to see what the new candle was like. First I love the design, it looks so festive and has a beautiful rose gold lid with a purple blow emblazoned with Baylis and Harding over it. There is two wicks which when I lit the candle gave off a beautiful glow. The scent was beautiful, I could smell the plum straight away and the wild blackberry gave a kind of spicy smell to it. The scent was not over powering and the burn time lasted ages!

The Natural Beauty Pot Sugar & Spice – £22.00
A warm, sweet scented candle with notes of cinnamon and clove.
Elaine from the team said: “When I first lit the candle, I instantly fell in love, it just reminded me of spiced biscuits or of popcorn and gingerbread. I could not only smell cinnamon but also clove, which added a little bit of spice to it. With the added clove it really balanced out the cinnamon scent as on it’s own it can be a little bit overpowering. As per the instructions I didn’t burn this for more than 3 to 4 hours and I trimmed the wick each time before burning which gave me a burn time of around 50 hours, I will definitely buy this candle.”

Wilko Green Fig And Orange Blossom Boxed Glass Candle – £4.00
Fresh and fruity, this candle will fill your home.
Mandy said: “I really liked this candle from Wilko, it was refreshing and had notes of orange, fig and apple. When the candle was lit it was fresh and I could really smell the orange and the fig which balanced each other out really well. The candle came in a glass jar so when it was finished, I cleaned and filled the jar with potpourri so I was re-using and not just throwing away, loved it.”

Wilko Red Berries Scented Pillar Candle – £2.00
Ideal as a centrepiece or to place inside a tall lantern.
Katy said: “This is an amazing candle, it has a real warm smell to it as it has notes of red berries but not overpowering. It is a pillar candle so I could easily place this as a centrepiece on the table or into a tall lantern, not only did this give off a beautiful smell but it looked so elegant. It has a burn time of around 58 hours and it looked beautiful each and every time I lit the candle.”

Tesco Geometric Scented Multi Wick Candle – Juicy Berry
Keep your home smelling warm and cosy.
Elaine said: “It’s nice to try lots of different candle scents to see what I like and I have to say I’m so glad I tried the juicy berry. The candle was a 2-wick candle and was a decent size, again this could have been placed as a centrepiece and I did really like the two flame effect.
The scent is juicy berries which was warm with notes of both strawberry and blackberry, both complimented each other. The burn time was around and it did last really well, I would buy this candle again.”
