Aberdeen – Lights to be switched on on Thursday 23 November 2017 @ 7pm by the
Lord Provost of Aberdeen and the Deputy Mayor of Stavanger
Armagh – Lights to be switched on on Fri 24th November,2017 lots of fun entertainment from 6:30pm onwards
Bangor – Lights to be switched on on 18th November 2017- switch on and fireworks finale at 5.30pm.
Belfast – Lights to be switched on on Saturday 18th November,2017 from 6.30pm to 7.30pm Join the Lord Mayor, Councillor Nuala McAllister and guests the Cool FM Breakfast crew, Bing and Flop, The Twirlywoos, Milkshake Live’s Derek and Jen and Cavehill Primary School choir as they kick off the festive season with the annual Christmas Lights Switch-On.
Birmingham – To be switched on late afternoon of November 16 at a specific time still to be confirmed
Bradford – To be switched on on Saturday 4 Nov 2017 @ 4pm by Matt Terry
Brighton & Hove – To be switched on at Brighton City Centre on Thursday 16 Nov 2017 from 5:15pm by Gogglebox stars, Chris Steed and Stephen Webb.
Bristol – To be switched on at Cabot Circus shopping centre Friday 10 November Friday 5:00pm – 6:30pm
Cambridge – To be switched on on November 19, after actress Katherine Kingsley lights up the shopping scene.
Canterbury – The lights will be turned on on Thursday, November 16, 2017 between 6.30pm and 6.45pm
Cardiff – lights to be switched on at 7 pm on 17thNovember,2017
Carlisle – The lights will be turned on on Sunday 19 Nov 2017, in the city centre at 17:00
Chelmsford – The lights will be turned on on Sunday 26 November from 2pm to 5pm.
Chester – The lights will be turned on at Chester Town Hall on Thursday 16th November @ 7pm.
Chichester – The lights will be turned on on Thursday, November 23rd at 6.30pm
Coventry – The lights will be turned on on Wednesday, November 22, at 7.30pm and Top singer and Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon will be on hand to hit the all-important switch.
Derby – The lights will be turned on on Saturday, November 18 at 6pm switching on the lights has gone to new Gem 106 breakfast show presenters Jo and Sparky
Dundee – Lights to be switched on on Friday November 24 Santa and the Lord Provost will do the honours for the switch-on
Durham – The Annual Traditional Christmas Light Switch On Durham Market Place on 26.11.17 time has yet to be announced
Edinburgh– The celebrations commence with Light Night, big Christmas lights switch-on event, on Sunday 19 November, 2017
Ely – The lights will be turned on on Friday 1st December 2017 no further information is available
Exeter – The lights will be turned on on Thursday, 16 November 2017 between 16.00-19.00 @ Princesshay
Glasgow -Glasgow’s annual Christmas Lights Switch On in George Square will take place on Sunday 19th November 2017
Gloucester – The lights will be turned on on Sunday 19 November 2017 From 4.30pm
Hereford – The lights will be turned on on Saturday 18 November Live music and entertainment will start at 3pm before the lights are switched on at 5pm

Leicester – The lights will be turned on from 1700 -2100 on Thursday 23rd November 2017 by the Lord Mayor
Lichfield – Lights to be switched on at 17:00 on Sun 26th November, 2017

Liverpool – The iconic 30 metre tree is lit up at 6pm on Thursday, November 9th,2017
