We’re obviously not the only ones dreaming of Christmas and all the magnificent food it brings, as Waitrose & Partners unveil this year’s Christmas food range, yes, six months before the big day, and what a choice we’re going to have.

So what are this years key highlights and flavours?
This years signature flavours are plum, spiced ginger and honey. Everything that basically reminds us of warm cosy nights in.
MAINS & SIDES
It’s not all just about traditional turkeys this year as it launches lots of delicious alternatives, including vegan Root en Croûte, Vegan Mushroom Cavolo Nero & Mascarpone Parcel and our highlight the Vegan Festive Ring – a ring of apple & cranberry and mushroom & leek bangers, with a fruity stuffing and crunchy parsley crumb, yum!

For those who like to carve the turkey on the big day can enjoy Slow Cooked Turkey Breast with Sage, Onion & Brioche Stuffing with a Spiced Muscovado Glaze and Bacon Wrapped Turkey Breast with a Plum, Spiced Ginger & Honey Stuffing with Tangy Plum Glaze.
For sides, enjoy Pork & Plum Stuffing with Spiced Ginger & Honey or a big bowl of deliciously golden brown Vegan Roast potatoes.

When it comes to finger food, Waitrose & Partners have went all out, with Vegan Pates, Pork, Duck & Orange Pie Waitrose 1 Pork & Pancetta Christmas cracker, your guest wont want to leave the buffet table.
Everyone wants to spend as little time as possible in the kicthen when a party is on and Waitrose has kept this in mind with its range of festive canapes. From Festive Pork Crackers and Vegan Moroccan Mushroom Chickpea Pittas your family and friends will be clamoring over the food.
DESSERT & CAKES
Moving on to one of our most important dishes of the day – DESSERT! and let us introduce you to Heston Blumenthal’s latest creation, a sour cream cheese cake, yes this is a cake and not a cheese board, even the ‘cheeseboard’ is an illusion, it’s actually lemon shortbread, we’ll have to try to double check.
A Giant Jaffa Cake dessert, Vegan Elderflower, Raspberry and Blackcurrent Jelly and Chcocolate, Caramel & Vanilla Choux Wreath all join this years line-up.
Who doesn’t love a slice of cake being washed down by a cup of hot cocoa on a cold Winter’s night, we certainly do and this year we can choose from a host of novelty and traditional options.
From the Santa Chocolate Tray Bake to a Spiced Ginger & Salted Caramel Sponge, who needs cutlery!
No Christmas day can go by without a quick dash to the cheeseboard, and you can fill yours up with Waitrose 1 Smoked Burrata, cheese selection pack and of course a White Stilton with Berries and orange.
