Speculation is rife as rumours of an engagement between Prince Harry and his long term girlfriend, actress Megan Markle, continue apace – we wonder will there be an extra sparkler under the Royal’s Christmas tree this year?
Dating for over a year Megan and Harry have managed to maintain their long distant romance between Toronto and London and now it would appear that Megan is planning to move to the UK – could this be another hint of things to come?

According to the 1772 Royal Marriages Act, amended in 2013, the Queen must consent to the weddings of the first six people in line to the Throne, with Prince Harry being fifth. Will the Queen give the couple her consent to their marriage?
With the Queen’s speech being recorded a few days before Christmas, the Queen can’t afford to wait until Christmas Day for the proposal in order to be able to feature it as part of her annual speech to the Commonwealth.

If Prince Harry proposes in December, Meghan will then be able to join the Royal family at Sandringham for their traditional Christmas celebrations and the happy couple could then set the date for their wedding (in 2018?)
