Get ready to start your Skateboarding journey with the new Xootz Deviate and Streak Double Kick Skateboard which we try and put to the test.
Skateboarding made its Olympic debut in Tokyo 2020 so it’s no wonder that kids (and adults!) are now picking up the sport.
But searching for the right skateboard for beginners can be a tough one, there’s so many to choose from, we were kindly sent the Deviate and Streak Double Kick Skateboard by Xootz and here we share our thoughts.
“As a team of five, we’re always on the lookout for exciting and innovative products to share with our festive friends, so when Xootz skateboard arrived, we were like kids on Christmas morning, over-zealous to try out and everyone wanted to go first.
Firstly, the Xootz Deviate and Streak Double Kick Skateboard have a sturdy 9 ply Chinese maple deck and measures 31″ by 8″ and features a sunken design for added durability and response when performing flip tricks, something we might not try straight away!
The skateboard is pretty lightweight to hold and can be easily transported around, perfect for taking away on adventurous days out or holidays.
Its design on the back of the skateboard is super cool, very electric! and even the wheels are coloured making it ideal to spot in crowds when your little one is taking on tricks and skating.
We did all have a shot, all be it very tentatively and did feel the Xootz Deviate and Streak Double Kick Skateboard sturdy, reliable, cool, controllable (as much as we could) and perfect for beginners and for £26.99 it really would make a top gift for your child this Christmas, plus if the weathers not perfect it still worked excellent on the carpet – sorry parents!”
Xootz Deviate and Streak Double Kick Skateboard is available for £24 from Asda
