UK’s Channel 4 returns to Chatsworth House for Christmas

Following on from last year’s Christmas at Chatsworth House a six-part series from ITN Productions has been filmed throughout 2020 and will give access to the house, its gardens, parkland and wider 35,000-acre estate, during the pandemic and how they will prepare for Christmas.

This series will follow the 12th Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, their 700+ staff, and visitors through what could be the most challenging time of the stately home’s 500-year history.

Let’s face it, this has not been a usual year for anyone, and as the cameras go behind the scenes in this new series we reveal how they respond to this year of turmoil with such good humour and acceptance.

Executive producer at ITN Productions, Will Smith, said: “Despite all the upheaval, life at Chatsworth continues to go on – adapting and flourishing in the face of a national crisis.  I’m sure viewers will warm to Chatsworth’s stoicism and good humour throughout this new series.”
