Channel 4 Christmas 2020 lineup is here

It’s that time of the year when TV channels announce their Christmas line up and Channel 4 are the first to do so. Take a look at what we can expect over the festive season.

Official time and air dates have yet to be confirmed however we do have a breakdown of each week.

Week 49

Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas

Kirstie’s Handmade Christmas will return again this year with a special Christmas present in store. Kirstie has got herself and an Elf, in the shape of, yes you guessed it, Mr Phil Spencer. Phil will also be crafting up a storm, from ice sculpting to woodwork.

One Night In…Hamleys

One Night In…Hamleys sees three top comedians locked overnight in the world-famous toy shop Hamleys on London’s Regent Street with no security guards, what could possibly go wrong?

Week 51

Jamie: Keep Cooking at Christmas

Jamie is back with two brand new specials, offering a helpful guide for the festive season. The Oliver family get into the Christmas spirit as they prepare for their own family celebrations. Jamie will share helpful, practical and flexible recipes for whatever our cooking ability or budget is.

Quentin Blake’s Clown

Based on the classic children’s book – inspired by a book of the same name and narrated by Helena Bonham-Carter. Quentin Blake’s Clown will be a half-hour animation bringing to life the adventures of a little toy clown, thrown away with a load of old discarded toys, as he goes on a journey to find a new loving home for himself and his friends.

Reindeer’s First Christmas

Flicker Productions and Maramedia take us to the stunning Scottish Highlights to dedicated herders who live alongside a group of young reindeer preparing for their first Christmas.

The Great Christmas Bake Off

Celebrating Christmas in the famous white tent, four bakes from past series will be whipping up festive bakes in a bid to be crowned Christmas Star Baker. They will finish off  Christmas with a magical performance of ‘Silent Night’.

First Dates Christmas

Fred and his team are once again escaping the bright lights of the city for the beating heart of the British countryside, promising to top all of the romantic festivities of last year’s special.

There will also be a range of programs in which include The Great Festive Bake Off, The Last Leg of the Year, Gogglebox: Best of 2020, Celebrity Gogglebox: Best of 2020 and Chitty Flies Again, which will see David Walliams celebrate the anniversary of the iconic musical film ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’.

January will also see a variety of programs aired on the channel including The Great, Gogglebox: Festive Special, Big Fat Quiz of Everything, How Healthy is Your Gut? and The Last Leg.
