Dozens of people take to social media to show how Christmas decorations and gifts are getting them through the coronavirus pandemic.
It’s Christmas time, well not yet, however it looks as though many of us are turning to the festive season to help get through self-isolation, yes honestly!
People have chosen to put up their Christmas lights to show support to our NHS and to bring some much-need joy amid the coronavirus pandemic, one Twitter user even has the FULL WORKS out inside his living room, Richard Ward tweeted:
The wife made me get the Christmas tree down this afternoon. She wanted to brighten the place up whilst we’re all at home instead of work and school so has made it into an #eastertree #coronavirustree Nice idea but the rabbit wants to eat the #eastereggs pic.twitter.com/mtcFX5g0d4

And yes festive friends, you’ve probably already thought this but stocking fillers and board games have also made a comeback, another fabulous way to keep everyone in the home entertained.
However, it doesn’t stop there EVEN festive food is playing its part with another user finding an advent calendar to count the lockdown days down and a family constructing an in-date gingerbread house kit to fill the time.
Kit left from Christmas 😂 in date til June, score! Working together following the instructions 🙌 pic.twitter.com/e8awmXobdC

So why not get the decorations up, hunt out in-date yule-tide treats, play or construct gifts you were given and let Christmas help you get through the pandemic!
