Christmas has arrived in Albert Square again as Hayley Slater (Kate Jarvis) tweets filming has commenced for this years Christmas episodes.
Will it be peace and goodwill on the square this Christmas?
EastEnders have begun filming it’s 2018 Christmas episodes as Kate Jarvis who plays newcomer Hayley Slater teases us with scripts, she tweeted:
So today the mad rush begins!
Shooting starts from this week, for this year’s Crimbo on Albert Square!
Oh. My. Gosh.

But what do we know so far? Well we know the BBC One soap is known for its explosive Christmas storylines from last years Branning fall off The Vic to the death of Ronnie and Roxy Mitchel in 2016 – could this be a hint to another death his year? or perhaps Kim finding out that Vincent has been killed?…
As Katie Jarvis has already tweeted we can expect she will make an appearance in the Christmas episodes but does this pave the way for the return of Alfie Moon or will the Slater’s have a happy Christmas with a new baby around the table?
As we reported earlier this month, Mick is doing panto all the way up until the new year – again does this mean he’ll still be in the nick during the festive period? and perhaps could Stuart have his feet behind the Queen Vic and the become the new landlord?
But what about the Talyors, the Beales, Mel, Rick and Hunter? One thing’s for sure it’s set to be one to remember.
