EastEnders has given us a glimpse of what to expect this Christmas Day, (yes we know it’s only February) and it looks as though Kat Slater and Phil Mitchell are set to tie the knot…finally!

In scenes next week, and as part of the soap anniversary episodes, Kat and Phil will both agree to hold off their wedding until Christmas Day. As we all know, Christmas time is usually packed with drama in soapland so we can only assume that things are likely to take a disastrous turn if that’s even possible.

Could we see Sharon trying to stop the wedding…again? or will Phil and Kat finally get married?
