The set-up of this outdoor Christmas decoration was so easy and quick to do, I simply lifted out the sleigh and the reindeer and connected the reindeer’s head into the slots on the body and connected the two c-shaped buckles on either side, these were quite hard to clasp together but once they were in place, they felt very secure. I then inserted the antlers and the decoration was ready to go.
I had already decided where I wanted this to go so I put the Reindeer and Sleigh Christmas Light Decoration in a secure place and used the included garden pegs to secure this to the ground. I also made sure that the plug was away from any elements from the weather so this did not get damaged and was kept dry at all times.
Once this was all set up I then turned the reindeer and sleigh on and I was so impressed with how it looked, it was bright and full of colour and I loved all of the modes that this had. There were 8 different modes in total and I tried them all, there was slow glow, chasing/flash, slow fade, sequential, waves, combination, twinkle and steady on, my favourite one was slow glow and combination as I felt these really looked effective with my other lights. I loved how the reindeer and sleigh looked, it was a decent size and when the lights were on it is so effective and festive looking, especially at night time.
Once I was finished with the decoration I unplugged the plug and made sure it was all turned off and secured overnight.
Overall I was really impressed with the Homebase 3D Reindeer & Sleigh, I felt it was really quick and easy to set up and I loved the multi-colour lights as this gave some extra colour to the garden. I will definitely be putting this up year after year.
