UK Retailers, John Lewis & Waitrose will hire more than 10,000 temporary staff this festive season who will also receive free food until January 6th!
With the cost of living going through the roof, John Lewis has decided to bring the joy of Christmas to all its staff as the brand will offer free food to all Partners and temporary workers from 3 October to 6 January.
Plus, The John Lewis Partnership is recruiting more than 10,000 temporary roles across the country this Christmas to meet increased demand over the busy festive period and to help customers get what they need to celebrate.
Andrew Murphy, Chief Operations Officer at the John Lewis Partnership, said:

This isn’t the only festive news from the company as it announces what they predict will be the top-selling toys for Christmas with nostalgic picks hitting top spots plus Waitrose has shown what will fill its shelves this holiday season and last but not least the brand’s one-stop Christmas shop has officially landed online.
Looks as though John Lewis has just guaranteed their name on Santa’s nice list.
