The comedy sketch show, Little Britain will return to TV – 12 years after the last series but can we expect another Christmas special? We hope so!
After a brief one-off Brexit special last year when it returned to the airwaves, David Walliams told The Sun that a full television series is definitely on the cards.
Britain’s Got Talent judge said: “I would say there will definitely be some more Little Britain coming. I can’t say when exactly but at the right time and place. It was fun coming back for radio because that’s where we started.”
He added: “We had to put it together quite quickly as it was about Brexit. Plus no one expected us to come back on the radio. You would have expected Comic Relief or a big live tour. The reaction was great, which was encouraging.”

The BBC comedy series ended in Christmas 2005 with Matt Lucas and David Walliams going on to do other specials including the 2006 festive episode where favourite characters from Little Britain were going abroad for Christmas.
So what can we expect from the comic duo? At the moment all we know is that both Walliams and Lucas have said the show will certainly be different. Walliams said: “You’d definitely do it differently because it’s a different time. There’s all kinds of tolerances that change”
Could a Christmas special already be in the works? well with the Gavin & Stacey Christmas special being such a hit on BBC, we’d be very surprised if not.
