The days are getting shorter, the nights are getting darker and a whole lot colder. So when do the clocks go back? This year, the clocks will change from BST to GMT at 2am on Sunday, October 28th.

This means at 2am you need to change all the clocks in your home, watches and alarms back to 1am – yes we get an EXTRA hour in our bed!

Clocks going back, snow forecast for the big day, Xmas light displays – all more signs Christmas is well on its way, and we can’t wait.

Changing the clocks an hour began more than 100 years ago, when parliament passed the Summer Time Act in 1916, creating British Summer Time.

So when will we put the clocks forward again? You’ll have to wait until Winter and of course Christmas has been and gone. Clocks go forward again on Sunday, March 31, 2019.
