Iceland reveals Christmas 2019 food offerings

We’ve got the full low down on what you can expect this Christmas from Iceland. Including a full blown Christmas dinner pie and a showstopper you’ll want for yourself!

Hitting its freezers this Christmas, Iceland’s ‘Master Feast’ includes festive treats the whole family will enjoy.

Here we’ve rounded up our favourites from this years line-up.

Kick starting the party off are the 40 Tempura Vegetable Selection, this includes cooked baby corn, green beans, courgette and pumpkin pieces in a crispy batter coating, and Vegan mini ‘cheese’ (actually pumpkin) burger sliders. Looks like meat, tastes like meat… it just isn’t! Perfect for all your finger buffets.

For the main course, two options stood out from the crowd, Iceland’s Pork Stuffing Log and a Christmas Dinner Pie that literally has all THE best parts from your main meal including button sprouts, bacon and even pigs in blankets!

Not a fan of the standard Brussels Sprout? Well these new whole sprouts in delicious tempura batter may just tempt your taste buds. Tesco have also released a similar idea with its Brussels Sprouts Bites.

For dessert, Iceland’s 5 Gold Rings filled with Belgian dark chocolate mousse, salted caramel sauce and a dark chocolate cookie base with a dark chocolate pouring sauce will without a doubt make a sensational showstopper on your dinner table, if it makes it that far.

As always Iceland Luxury Mince Pies are back and we seriously can’t wait to grab a pack and indulge with a hot chocolate.

Sadly we don’t know the pricing yet for the Christmas selection, or the nutritional information, but shoppers are being told to keep an eye on the Iceland website.

Other UK supermarkets including Asda and Marks & Spencer have also announced their Christmas food and drink offerings including M&S snowball effect gin!
